haha...yeah, I've always wanted to go to Burning Man!  But SHIT, where I'm at that would be a 3 week vacation at least, a week to drive out there, a week of having fun, and then a week back.  I would definitely need a partner to share in the fun were I to go.

Time to start collecting followers. :smirk::heart:

Okay, as soon as Burning Man tickets go on sale, I'm going to get one, therefore propelling myself onwards and making it priority to plan and go.

My friend went there not knowing what to expect. He dressed like normal and felt like he stuck out like a sore thumb. So he borrowed someone's tu tu and wore that the rest of the time. At Burning Man everybody is the show.

HOLY MOTHER OF GOD

I'm going. I'm getting myself a ticket for my birthday, in January. Maybe sooner. Hopefully they won't be sold out by then, as the actual event isn't until August.

I am so...wow. The more I read (I've been reading reports on BM's website and everything they have on there) the more I realize just how freeing this will be. I even read a report about open and brazen nudity. Freedom of the self. That's what I seek. I am going and that's that. It will be a total experiment in self-reliance. How liberating.

Hopefully I can find a friend to come with. I hate to say it, but in my mind Burning Man is the only festival I really want to go to now, heh.

8 days surviving in an alien land full of sensory delights not yet imagined...fuck yes.

other than that the only festival i've really wanted to go to is mutant fest.

edit: don't trust anyone trying to sell you drugs at festivals, especially not anyone over the age of 25
