It will be TOUGH to get a camping spot that late in the game. We arrived Thursday afternooon two years ago and had to park the RV in a city lot on the other side of town (only about 1.5 miles from the Town Camping Ground) for the night because there were no spots in the Campground. But we were able to scam a slot early the next morning (early bird catches the worm!). Checkout time is something like 10am and you can only stay 3 consecutive nights at the park, so if you go around the campsites you can see people's "permits" posted on the sign post for each campground. It will tell you the day they are supposed to check out so you can "scope" out a spot ahead of time.
You might have better luck if you are just tent camping, although with Cheese doing a show with Keller there will be even more people wanting to camp right next to the "venue" in the park. Might have best luck by sweet talking someone that already has a spot into sharing with you guys... head treats as a gift always make people more accepting of that idea .
There is only one hotel in town and it's sure to be booked, there are some weekend rentals that you could probably still snag but they are kinda pricey unless you have a big crew to split the cost.

Thanks for the advice. I think I can scare up a few head treats to share for space.
We did find a hotel that costs $100 a night, that was the cheapest one, but if there is another campground, we will try to stay in that. I'm getting so stoked! For the music too!

Yup, apparently:

It was only a matter of time. They play Telluride for the Bluegrass festival every year which has treditionally only missed the Mushroom Conference by about a week or two.
Can you say... Texas encore?

Yeah I'm taking my kids this weekend! Also took them to Burning Spear last weekend. Our summers are busy. But they are not coming to S.F. Too expensive, plus it's nice to have kid free weekends sometimes, especially since my kids are older. I never used to go anywhere without them when they were little. The good things about having kids young is that you're still young when they are older!
