For those interested in car tuning, check out what i just picked up for $55

Garrett T25 turbo, manifold, & J pipe. parts are from a RWD SR20DET. im going to trade the mani & j pipe for FWD mani & j pipe to put on my FWD SR20DE.

for $55 this was a steal as this would normally sell for $300-400.

Ew...T25...Get you a 50 Trim or if you want that type of turbo get an evo3 16g. My eclipse came stock with a T25. When I put a 16g on, BIGG difference. I guess it would work alright for a 240 though. Still a good deal none the less.

i might upgrade to a GT28RS after a while but this will be good for now.
this will be going on a b13 sentra se-r, not a 240. thats why im trading my rwd parts for fwd.

here is the fwd manifold and j pipe i traded for.
its always good to have a few sr20 friends :wink:



i think im also gonna switch the compressor housing with one from a fwd t25. that way i can re-clock the turbo and not have to mess with the wastegate bracket. also i prefer the coupler style flange to the bolt flange.

this is going to be a long time project. im still collecting parts and have many more things to buy. not too long though. i wont be able to stand not having boost for too much longer :evil:

so i put the new compressor housing on today. i need to drill and tap a hole in it for the other wastegate bracket bolt.

i have owned just as many rwd cars as i have fwd cars. honestly, i don't have a prefference. they are both good IMO.

WTF does rwd have to do with going fast anyway?

whats wrong with 4 cylinders? i think you are underestimating the power they are capable of.

take 2 cars, equal powered and equal weight, one FWD, and the other RWD. The RWD will dominate in all aspects of driving, unless you're a woman and don't want to end up backwards in the rain.

We're probably into cars for different reasons, I actually race. I just don't get the point of making your car faster with it's the driver that needs improvements. Not being offensive, I just find it funny that I autox and beat people in 500 hp cars with my little 210 at the wheels.

And I know what 4 cylinders turbo's can do, keep up with my n/a inline 6.

a rwd car may out perfrom in handling. other than that thats pretty much bullshit.

i dont go to auto-x. not that i never will, i just never got into it & never really had the car for it.
i just like having a fun car to drive and take to the track on the weekends. whats wrong with that?

why would you call someone a shitty driver just because they drive a fwd car?

your 6 cylinder wouldnt even keep up with a v8, so what? its obvious that bigger motors put out more power.
honestly, i like pushing power out of 4 cylinders.
