rather than the Hebrew 'Abba' that the [patriarchal] Gospel writers affirmed.

That's interesting, because ABBA is actually a male-female combination and if you ask the right zany high school teachers and soccer moms, ABBA is God.

“Strengthened by contemplation and study,
I will not fear my passions like a coward.
My body I will give to pleasures,
to diversions that I’ve dreamed of,
to the most daring erotic desires,
to the lustful impulses of my blood, without
any fear at all, for whenever I will—
and I will have the will, strengthened
as I’ll be with contemplation and study—
at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

there are even some humans which are "placed here by god" with sexual organs of both sex, or of neither..all the other creations of god feel that 'he' must have made a mistake in choosing a gender..gender and sexuality are unique but so interconnected in societies it is hard to differentiate the two

to answer the question id also have to agree that its the patriarchal based societies choice in naming 'god' male

The mind of man creates the fiction of god and it also ponders whether it is a male or female..what a drama.

therein lies the problem-- since supposedly god creates the mind of man it is impossible to know which created which..

...maybe it was just created by man in order to create a cycle, as all things in nature are cyclic

I think it is more a matter of masculine and feminine, not male and female. The latter duality belongs to biological entities, the former suggests active and passive aspects, though of course it depends upon the context. Early Hindu myth, for example, saw the masculine sky god raining/fertilizing the receptive feminine earth, but later models saw the masculine Shiva as receptive and the feminine Shakti as creatively active.

Hebrew mythos used the Hebrew letters and words to express these dualities and paradoxes. It is more to the point to view Ultimate Reality as a Coincidentia Oppositorum in which all opposites are resolved in a transcendental unity. It is then a matter of principles, not personalities, but humans are personal beings in duality and we project the qualities of our form onto Ultimate Reality. This is not necessarily a bad thing unless we believe our own projections and then act 'as if' our projections ARE Deity Itself! This is the primitive psychological process that underlies the Fundamentalist's self-righteous indignation that sinners are 'offending' Deity. Naturally, the Fundamentalist will self-consciously concede to being a sinner himself while secretly nurturing his sense of moral superiority over others. Male-Female, Right-Wrong, Good-Evil, God-Devil, etc. all get divided along Black-White lines, with each dichotomy defining the others. Now THAT is drama!
