Lana, you actually used 100% (3%) in your ultrasonic. Wouldn't that fuck up the transducer? I think I might try that though, sounds pretty cool. Do you sterlize your instruments/vessels with it as well?

If Hydrogen Peroxide needed a poster girl, I'd be it:-) I use H2o2 for everything! I think that wherever water is used, except when working with spores, I always have a h20/h2o2 mix.

I use it probably to an "overkill" status but it's peace of mind for me.

As for any ground breaking tek using h202, I have none:-( I have small renditions of other peoples idea. For example, awhile ago I bought one of those ultrasonic foggers. And instead of using water I used 100% h2o2 (actually store brand 3%).

I did this whenever I would put my cakes into the grow chamber. This would kill any suspected cobweb mold and it looked cool at the same time;-)

Little ideas are all I've thought up;-)

I usually add lots of h2o2 to the perilite in the bottom of my grow chamber. I have no idea what it does but i do it anyway.

Hi Dirtydog,
I used it for about 4 months that way set on a timer. Only 1 time a day for 3 minutes. It was one of those "it worked but you get the same results by just adding it to the perlite" kind of idea:-)

As for the transducer, I only noticed a little discoloring on the metal disk.

any ideas on how to incorperate h2o2 into grain spawn? supposedly th@ book about h2o2 cultivation discribes the process but im not exactly sure how one would include peroxide w/o screwing it up in the pressure cooker... as h2o2 decomposes rapidly @ higher temperatures... maybe use it after you cook? but then how would you get the already hydrated grain to absorb it?

i think h202's benefits are mostly placebo... however it never hurts i'm sure. one thing i've noticed is that whenever it comes in contact with a mushroom cap, there is some fizzing. i wouldn't be surprised if this is actually harmful to the mushroom, but it seems doubtful if people are actually putting the stuff in their ultrasonics and getting good results. hm.

Ive heard it will slow down the mycelium but will continue growing in a few days, now mushrooms i wouldnt think it would hurt them as long as you lightly misted them.
