I've read no. Generally they dont test for the chemicals in shrooms unless they suspect them. Look on www.erowid.org - they have a section about it.

Just curious, but how long after a trip would the chemicals be detectable in your urine?

--You wouldnt have much to worry about unless you were caught, obviously tripping, by the police or your employer and doing something stupid (that they wanted to press charges for). Not for a general getting a job piss test, and I'm sure they wouldnt run the extended drug test on probation violators EVERY time - that would get quite expensive.

According to some sources on the net, psilocybin is said to stay in the body for 1-3 days...
ok i can't find that page anymore... but i found this on erowid...

"In the high dose study of rats, all but 6 pecent of the psilocybin was excreted within twenty-four hours. In humans, only 80-85% of psilocybin and its metabolites is excerted within 8 hours, in the urine (about 65%), bile and feces (15-20%). Some 15-20% olingers on, stored in fatty tissues; significant quantitites appear in urine up to a week later. A full 25% of the originally administered dose enters urine as psilocin."

well they say that some traces can be seen even a week after... so i would say you could be totally clean in 7-10 days. 3 days most of it will be gone, still 7-10 is pretty fast compared to other subtances.

i'm pretty sure shrooms aren't tested for in "normal" piss tests. I got arrested for possesion of marjiuana and the only thing I was tested for was pot. Tell your friend not to sweat it.
