in 2012 we'll be in the middle of an eleven year solar flare peak. so what's going to happen is that we'll have a extremely violent solar storm of unprecedented magnitude. it will wreak havoc on all electrical systems and plunge us into a global dark age that will take a long time to fix. however, when the catastrophe occurs a global panic of sorts will ensue and cause people to riot, local systems will break down, opportunists will strike out. it'll be a snap into anarchy! as if all that wasn't bad enough, the solar radiation will cause people to mutate. it's going to suck man. people will start mutating and get all uppity and form marauding war clans. orcs will appear, and dragons will reappear. eventually under the stress of all these different circumstances most national governments will completely collapse and the lights will not come back on at all, except in random local locations where people band together in fortress hamlets. this will occur more and more as preserved food runs out and marauding bands of mutants, as well as dragons, start attacking more and more.

the first 5 years will be a brutal test for all of us. so get your bomb shelters stocked up with goods while theres still time. a cave could be easily transformed into a fortress shelter/storage easily enough, if you have a cave that is. hide important electrical equipment in the caves that way you'll have that stuff at your disposal when the schism occurs and that will give you a clear advantage over other people competing with you. i'm not really sure what to do about the dragons though. we'll have to wait and see.

Have you even read it? It's called "Revelation," no s on the end.

It's a doomsdayer's favorite book of the Bible. That whole fucking thing is all a bunch of metaphorical nonsense.. you can pick and choose so many different things from it and apply it to almost anything in modern times and call it a sign of the coming apocalypse. Entire sects of Christianity do it constantly - and have been doing it for decades.
