Portabello cultures
    #7399817 -

Would anyone possibly have any portabello or morel prints or cultures that you would be willing to share. A couple vendors say they have them but everytime i visit the sites they are out of stock?

Why not just buy a portabello from the store and print it yourself? Then the print is free and the meal is yummy!

IIRC Morels are extremely difficult to grow, they require a living root system. They have been successfully cultivated, but well beyond the abilities of even most professional growers. (Too lazy to look up the link right now, sorry )

:thumbup:You could also take a tissue sample from it and grow it out on agar or start an LC from it.

A tissue sample would be your best bet. Im sure that portabellos from the stores have little spores to drop considering they have been harvested and shipped.
