Only movie I ever tripped to was Forrest Gump. I had taken about 500mg of DXM. I was at the peak for the whole movie. I actually didn't watch it so much as lay there and listen/see it.

my favorite has always been disneys alice in wonderland.

ive seen this movie so many times on so many different chemicals... never gets old, always quite entertaining.

has anyone watched The Fountain on any shrooms or acid?

by the end of that movie i felt like i was peaking on shrooms and walking from a snow covered street into my warm house.

The Animatrix was awesome on mushrooms. Saw and Saw 2 on acid was awesome, and fucking brutal.

i've only seen two movies while tripping. fight club and bong water.

fight club was kind of boring since i've seen it a million times, but it did give my trip a nice dark vibe that i liked at the time.

bong water i couldn't tell at all what was going on, except i defintely noticed the part in the movie where they're all tripping on acid and jack black is leading them through the woods and they're all doing this really fake repetitive giggle. i was seeing all sorts of face and the trees were growing off the screen and just generally it was the only interesting scene i've ever seen on tv while tripping.

i have still yet to see the movie sober and i really want to know what the fuck was going on during that scene.

"this is like that drug trip in that movie i watched on that drug trip"

edit: i've also seen 2001 and finding nemo while tripping, also boring.

also, i can't really say i watched any of those movies except bong water. tv bored the fuck out of me while tripping so i barely pay attention. during bong water i was kind of stuck to my seat, and can't remeber much other than being very confused.

all of the above are acid or mushroom experiances (or dpt, 2ci, amt, 5-meo-amt, ect). dxm experiances is a whole nother story. any movie that a child wouldn't be able to follow the plot of and would be a little afraid (but not alot afraid, horror movies suck) is a good movie to watch on dxm.

Funniest tripping/movie experience I've ever had: The Big Lebowski - the absurdity and dialog is perfect.

Most profound experience with a movie while tripping: Baraka, by FAR.


I can't usually sit and watch a movie while I'm tripping though. It just isn't something I find enjoyable. I have to get up and go outside and be around trees/nature and move around.. I get way too restless.

I watched Return of the Jedi on 3 grams of mushrooms and realized how much of a tool Luke Skywalker really is. In the scene on Dagobah, when Yoda is telling Luke that he must confront Vader to complete his training, I suddenly realized how much Yoda and Obi-Wan were using and manipulating Luke to fulfill their own desires for vengeance against Vader and the Emperor. Kinda put a weird vibe into Star Wars that I've never been able to get rid of.
