PFTek cakes/jars question!

When the entire visible outside of a cake is colonized (i'm using standard PF jars), how much longer should I wait to be sure that the inside of the cake is completely colonized?

Wait another week, seven days, to ensure the mycelium has a proper foothold on the avaiable nutrients.
