Simple Question About Terrarium Size
    #72958 -

I want to know one thing: how many 1/2 pint cakes can fit into a typical 10 gallon container with a drip shield? (well, let's say 20" by 12" by 10") And don't tell me about perlite, I already know, I just think I'd best keep to the PF tek.. er, that is my friend will... Thanks.

If the drip shield is configured so that you have the full "floor" of the aquarium available for fruiting, you can fit around 8 or so cakes in there; otherwise, you might get up to 6 or so I would guess.

what do you have against perlite?  there are some exceptions to following the PF TEK to the letter, hence when better results can be had with a simple, proven, and reliable adaptation?  just curious though

You don't. The casings provide their own humidity.
