couple picks of amanita muscaria v. formosa. This is from a magic patch that produces just about everything, from amanitas to agaricus that are very tasty to psilocybes that will make you trip your balls off. anyways got a little carried away . . . hope you like the amanitas.

whao that look wierd it look like gemmnata or pantherina , but more gemnata ,i guess ,i can not see the volva, but still magical that patch.

yes. They do look an awful lot like gemmata or pantherina. However, they certainly are not gemmata, as i have dug up a specimen from this patch before. It COULD be pantherina, however i do believe its is formosa.

no, i continued to let them grow. I was under the impression that only amanita muscaria, the red version, was hallucinogenic, and at the same time still somewhat of a risk.

i would not eat those, and they do not look like formosa. the mushrooms featured in your pics are common right now and at the beginning of summer/end spring etc in the PNW, and no one has plopped a proper ID on them yet, but after personally browsing through multiple mushroom ID's, I saw about 10 possibilities in the amanita family. some of them toxic.
