Filter Patch Bags

Well I got this kit that had two filter patch bags. One was rye grain, the other compost. I inoculated the rye grain, and it went as well as planned. But this morning I just put the rye in the filter patch bag with the compost and shook it up. The question I had, though, is this thing doesn't have any humidification technique. I mean, is this thing really gonna work?

Yeah, it'll fruit invitro without humidity control...just won't produce a ton that way. I'd recommend casing it....

I mean like.. put it in a tub and use humidity control? I don't have any casing material, just the compost and rye. LoL

But if I put it in a tub and did the spray bottle thing, it would be better off?
