As you may have read, I've recently received a big ole sac full of filter patch bags from lana @ MycoSupply. Well, I'd like to give out some to anyone interested in trying them out. So I'm offering 1 set of 4 filter patch bags to each of 5 winning entrants. As usual, reply to this thread to get your name in the running.

A large pressure cooker and impulse sealer are recommended (but not required) to use the bags.

About the bags..

Spawn Bags With Filter Patch

An autoclavable, patented spawn incubation bag with a microporous filter patch that allows gas exchange but precludes the passage of contaminants. Measuring 21 x 8.25 x 4.75 inches, these bags are larger than most spawn bags, allowing them to hold more material. Widely used by mushroom growers throughout the world.

I've always wanted to use those bags... just never could afford them. I have like 24 quarts jars which is a lot. It would be so much easier to innoculate one filter bag! Egghead.. If those bags could fit in a 12 quart PC . COUNT ME IN!! =)

hey i got some panaleous cyanescens fruiting right now and i would like to trade a print for some of those bags. they look awsome and it would make my panaleous cultivations esier. if youd like to trade then pm me. trade or not i still would like to be entered!!!!

Yeah Egghead Im definitely interested in these bags.
I would use these bags for micro pastuerizing or sterilizing of grains and casing materials correct?
