Using filter-patch bags without an impulse sealer.

My friend gave me some large filter patch bags, but i don't have the money to spend on an impulse sealer (even if i could get one for around 30$). What would be the cleanest way to seal these bags so no air can get in besides through the filter patch bags, i thought of using tape, rubber bands, etc... but didnt know what would work.
