well if you told us what size jar and substrate that would help...filter discs or metal lids?....the strain also decides the average colonization time... if your asking this you are already too impatient... your impatience will be the downfall i promise...just let them to be..give them two weeks then take a peep...once you peep you see if they are done or how much longer they need to marinate in the incubator....

wow strang........ I'm asking about colonization speed to see if i'm going to be gone and out of town for that period of time. i could care less how long it takes  .
I'm just trying to figure out if a friend will have to come over and do some work for me. If they are good @ 3 weeks or less that is great but if 5 or so then i'm not going to be around. I might just wait a few more weeks to even innoculate them so I know i can do all of my own work. Anyway i really shouldn't even ask cause i'll be using a few strains and those are all different. so pay no attention to my question now. I'm just addicted to posting. Next time don't be so jumpy or assume.

yeah man, dont worry about him, your obviously not the only one addicted to posting, im sorry to post this unecessary post myself, but seeing so many of this type i feel i must say something. He is one of those shmucks who although doesnt know the answer still feels he needs to up his post count by throwing in his 2 cents which no one cares about. critisism welcome guys, lets just make it constructive at least.

my cambos in half pint jars with metal lids took 2 weeks to germinate and are almost fully colonized 2 weeks later at 80 degrees. a few are more like 60% but hey thats prety fast. id say (and im a TOTAL NOOB) that after germination your gona be good to go in less than a month
