My very first time growing took pf-tek style jars 28-36 days using pf-race and no incubation. Using spawn bags and multigrain (rye/millet) with a bit of coco-coir tossed in and innoculated with agar transfers I can get a two quart bag to colonize fully in under 10 days (in an incubator).

"The key to guaranteed success, in my opinion, is making super concentrated spore syringes yourself."

I think you should try mycelial syringes. isolates will give you more consistent yields than multispore inocs. i think starting from spore is good if you want to find a good strain, but keeping the cycle going with spore syringes is not the way to go IMO

I used the classic PF tek. A little less than 1cc per jar. I had the jars in an incubator betwwen 87-90 degrees.

I'm average 5 days to a week with a grain to grain transfer, 1 spoon full from a fully colonized ecuador jar. This is the only way I innoculate anymore, the one spore jar I made on the 2nd isn't even half colonized yet, but the 4 jars I grain to grain transfered on the 14th are fully colonized, I uped the transfer number to 3 spoon fulls for some jars I did last night and they are comming along great, should be on target for 100% after the 5 days. if only I had jars over a pint in size :frown:
