Id 11 different species...you know you want to.

With all the heat and rain we've had here in Georgia, I thought for sure my patch would be yielding. It wasn't. So I decided to just see what else my yard was up to. I'm spore printing #5 and 11 with no results as of yet on white paper.



1. Is this one poisonous?





2.I didn't pick these.


3. This little guy was growing right next to the white ones.


4. I have tons of these big guys. So weird. The underside is bright yellow and spongy.


5. Lots of these too.












6. These were all over my yard last year, probably will be again.




7. I thought this guy was just like the others until I looked at the gills.





8. I just thought he was cute.




9. Him too.


10. He was green with hardly any stem at all.


11. Near my weilii patch

Species 1 is an Amanita ocreata and is deadly poisonous.
Species 2 is either an Amanita or a Lepiota, I would need to see the gill attachment and/or base of the stalk to tell you which. Likely to be deadly.
Species 3 is hard to ID without seeing the underside. Maybe a Bolete.
Species 4 is a Bolete.

Boletes are never psychoactive, some are poisonous (not deadly) and others are excellent to eat. Since the big boletes are plentyful, you should ID them, might be a lot of good food!

Species 5 is hard for me to ID. Looks kind of like an Amanita pantherina, but I don't see any bulb at the base of the stem. Was there one? The pink free gills are highly suggestive of Pluteus, but those don't have those patches of tissue on the cap. Could also be a Volvariella.
Species 6 is a Psathyrella.
Species 7 is the same as species 5, and probably 2. Very likely to be an Amanita. The gills are still covered with the veil, which by now is a ring on the stalk.
Species 8 is a little Amanita or Lepiota.
Species 9 is a Russula.
Species 10 is likely to be a green Russula, could be edible.
Species 11 looks like Lyophyllum decastes.

#6 might be Psathyrella, however, the stipe looks more hardy, leading me towards Pholiota or perhaps Stropharia. It'd be easy to sort out if we got a photo of the gills.
