I found these is my backyard growing on woodchips below a bush.

They look like Psilocybe Azurescens to me, but I could be way off. I won?t be able to upload any other pictures of it until tomorrow.

What do you guys think it is?

In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion.

I just mangled a cap trying to do that. It looks like the veil is not attached to the stem, and when peeled back reveals tiny gills. I don't think I can print these...

Edit: Nevermind, the veil was attached, it looks like the veil is tucked in between the cap and stem covering the gills.

They're not Azures.
If you want a positive ID you gotta give up more info than that.
I'd guess either Psathyrellla, although they don't look like the ones I find over here, or Agrocybe, not sure what but they are definitely not active.

Peace
