Found these yesterday on woodchips with grass growing around them.
They were found near Bellingham, Washington.
The temperature has been warm, 40's to 50's with about 2 days of rain. Spore print is purple brown. ID?

Could be a species of Psathyrella.

really nice picture by the way.
could you post a picture of the gills? If not, what color are they, and what do they look like...as in the structure.
What kind of wood chips? Did they bruise blue?
They are quite interesting...
HEre is a picture that I took of what Im thinking Mycena murina. Do these look similar to you? Too bad I didnt get a spore print of these. They would have been white however.

these LBMs are vary common after rain . looks vary much like mycena maculata . but that usually grows on wood .
? where is mj today , i think he would know this one

90% sure they are a Psathyrella due to the purple/brown spore print and pictures. Mycena would be a close match but I believe have a lighter cream/yellow spore print. As to the exact psathyrella, your gonna need a microscope and an expert
