Don't do it. If you do you might as well planning on relinquishing all manhood. Just go up to her and ask her if she has plans for a specific night you are free. If she has plans suggest another night. If you try out three different nights and she hasn't suggested an alternative, then she isn't interested, get over it.

If you happen to find a night both of you are free, don't ask her what she wants to do. She will be indecisive. It is in a woman's nature.

If you know her decently simply tell her you have plans for the two of you that night and when you will pick her up.
If you do not know her well, tell her what your plans are for the evening followed by when you will pick her up.

Doing it this way asserts an image of confidence and self esteem without being too overbearing. It has always worked for me.
