start doing meth or heroin. fight fire with fire. maybe then you'd have a greater addiction and you'd forget all about the smaller one.

Definitely don't lie to her. If you wanna keep her in anyway lying will get you nowhere. but you do have to realize that you do have a problem. and it's yours to fix. No one elses. Before you share your life with someone you have to make sure you're life is livable, that you're life is YOUR life before you start sharing it with someone else. and you can't see her as a benefit or loss to your not drinking and drinking. you need to put her aside and think of how else this is affecting YOU. and quit drinking for you cause YOU want to be sober, cuase YOU don't want to be an alchoholic. It's YOU YOU YOU.

Until a couple of weeks ago I was getting drunk every 2nd night.
I used to drink spirits alone.

It has been exactly 9 days since I got drunk(sort of socially, since I was chilling with my bro), I have certainly been alcoholic more than twice in my life and I'm only 22.

I actually find it easy to quit, I have vowed only to drink on occaisons, so I will be getting shit-faced tonight at a gig.
I also have the problem of being fat, so losing weight has motivated me to keep off drink.

Only thing I have great difficulty quitting is cigarettes:thumbdown:
