Improvement on Glossary. A project. Need YOUR help

Ok, as this site has given so much to me, I have decided to give something back to it. There are loads of resourses spread about the site, and a very good glossary, but I thought that a theme classified index would be really useful. Once I have a list made I will link each term to the glossary and also give a few relevant links to posts on these forums which talk about the specific item

So I would be very grateful If you all filled in each category with whatever you can think of.

Also, please correct any errors in terminology you can see. And if you can think of any appropiate categories that should be added, say so.

Here are some additions. I've also moved Coco Coir from Casing Materials to Bulk Substrates to reflect what seems to be the majority community consensus about Coir at this point. Maybe it should be in both categories.

Also when I cut and paste the boldness went away.

I think that one of the best things you could add would be a guide to the acronyms in common use. I think they are the biggest barrier to new people trying to decipher the teks.

Do you mean what it is...Or how it's used in the tek, or something of that nature?

I'm sure I could help you out with some of these.

Definition as a glossary definition. No direct references to a specific tek, but yes references to procedures

For example:

Honey: Sweet substance produced by bees. Used in mycology as an ingredient for Liquid Cultures

Something like the above, in clear, easy language and short but concise.

Post any definitions you want to make on this thread, that way other users can comment. Hopefully soon I can convice one of the site administrators to add in any definitions we make into the glossary.
