Why would he get banned if the usage of the notify moderator function was appropriate? I mean, if he is intentionally spamming them, then there is no question, but if he is calling to their attention legitamate concerns, in accordance with the rules of the forum and website, then it sounds like apt usage.

I have no idea what LF said but I agree with your points, the forum rules will be my guidelines in determining reporting posts.

I just want to see consistency in regards to moderating.
