Dessicant Questions...

Is Montmorillonite Clay good for a desiccant??? I know its a desiccant because I got it from www.desiccare.com. Also, what's the best way to reactivate Montmorillonite Clay? The bag tells me 16 hours in a oven at 245F in the Unit Pack bags (they are packaged in Tyvek bags. Could I pour the stuff out and speed up the activation process???

Does anyone know how good it works? I have about 5 pounds of this stuff because it was cheap.

Also is Silica Gel a good desiccant? I might buy me some of that stuff too...

I have never used the stuff but it sounds like it will work. Sixteen hour to reactivae though, that seems like a long time.
