Dessicant Question

Ok..My cat was again moving around her dessicant chamber and some dried shriveled up material fell off the cofee filter and onto the damprid. It was only a small portion of the material..furthermore the damp rid has been used a bunch of times and all large chunks on top that don't really let any dust fly. I carefully picked a few of them out and are now again safely with their friends. Is this gonna be a problem at all? The damp rid says its should not be eaten yadda yadda and I'm guessing thats because it would dry out your throat in quantity. Should these still be ok?
