I currently use... whatever the hell I can scrounge, and prefer lo-fi analog everything when possible.

Crazy Black Death Tech Metal for my band. I also write acoustic classicalish crap. I have a Jackson Warrior and Kelly thru a Line 6 Flexitone3. I also mess about with Reason and Logic for my electronic crusades which is usually in the Drum n Bass arena.

were like an experimental/reggae/blues/folk/rock/jam band.
using everything from guitar/bass/keyboard/drums to crazy shit like rain stick, triangle, Indian drums, and pretty much any percussion accessory or anything that sounds cool.

I don't make it though, just play it. Unless you count solos. I'm a trombone player ( Worst instrument in a jazz band... maybe bass.)
I'm trying to learn my way around Garage Band so I can just tool around and make some shit, probably hip-hop influenced, but more like a Madlib/J Dilla style, not just straight hip-hop.

i make this kinda music. this tune is the newest thing i pushed. you guys get a sample.
i dunno what it would be classified as.
i use technics 1200's + vestax pro-05 mixer, sony acid, sony soundforge and dope vinyl records.
if anyone can tell me what the grateful dead tune that's sampled in it is from, then you get big props.
i also use reason and cubase and GOD knows how many plugins i use after that. i use waves goddamn near exclusively for everything pre and post-production. waves diamond bundle ftw.
