I almost got someone (or myself) killed couple of months ago.

I just had dropped my friends and was on my way home. It was 4 in the morning and I didn't expect any cars. I had driven that way many times and knew exactly what to expect. I drove a little faster, but not much faster than I usually did. I came into a long curve with 50-55mph. I usually do with 40-45mph. On my way I out of the curve I pressed some gas as usual and the next second my car was slipping straight to a lambpost and then blasting into it.
Anything didn't happened to me, but if there would been anyone sitting next to me...apparently one of my friends, more likely seatbelt open...would or wishes to be dead. The car was old and rusty and the post came straight in from the passengers door, right all the way to gearbox.

The reason it all happened was the fact that I'm living at seashore and it it was about 0 degrees outside ( I didn't knew it because I hadn't been outside my car for several hours.). The road was covered with thin slippery layer, I couldn't see because my lights were real blurry and wrongly showing. Honestly one time I was stopping at night on highway there was a biker who passed me and his single light on his bike was more lighting then mine. It was the first part of the road close to sea, it's less than 100m. I had And that weak press of gas pedal was the thing needed for my car to loose total control.

The ONLY way it affected my life was waking up next morning without my car ( no hassles) and the possibility mental illness that I strongly and effectively fight with high doses of hallucinogens as right now.

yeah, im planning on getting a new one soon that will work on the old analog system, but im waiting for a check to clear. That and the 80 mile trip to the damn cell phone store.
