Almost got myself killed toady...... Again...

I Was driving down a back road in nevada going about 65, and while there is cellphone service out there, i dont get any. so i decided to try calling 911 to see if it would work....

As i was grabbing my phone, i veered off of the road into a ditch, that was getting a lot deeper very fast. it was all gravel so the breaks wouldn't and didnt work...

still going 65 i veered back onto the road, at such an angle where i was about to launch into the opposite ditch, i tried to steer back onto the road, but the car started to fish tail, and started to lean very hard, almost to the point of rolling...

luckily i recovered from the fishtail, and went on my way.

this is the same place where my car broke down and left me stranded about 2 months ago.... that valley has it out for me

why would you call 911 just to see if your phone works? that seems a little odd to me, wouldn't you like call a friend or something to see if there was reception?

I don't care about driving with a cell phone, it's not hard to do, if you can handle it.  Just know where it is.  It's illegal in my state, but I don't know if they actually give tickets.  Everyone still does it, and I refuse to wear one of those hands free sets :lol:



But what's with calling 911?  haha that's weird

i did have extra water and food this time...

thing is i did not get service in the valley with cingular, however i know that alltell covers the area.

i was hoping that if i was calling an emergency number, it would allow me onto the other network...

when I walk through the business district EVERYONE has them on and it just looks like a bunch of crazies talking to themselves

...actually, one time i sped left out of a road cuz i was afraid id miss the light, and then i ended up slamming the side of the tire on the curb and efed it up. i told my parents that a deer ran out in front of me and i swerved to avoid it.

so i guess that was pretty stupid
