 suggestion for grow log forum

I think there should be some standard way for a poster in the grow log forum to mark their post once the grow is completed. Perhaps adding "completed" or something in the title. This way people can browse for logs which have been finished rather than those still in progress. However it's done, it should be standard so that some people don't use "finished" or "done" or something.
What ya think?

I think that if you tell people to do so, around 37 percent would do so, and the rest not.

then have the mods do so when the cultivator is finished and reported results. Discussion and Q&A can continue, but everyone will know the grow is complete.

I really like the new grow log forum but haven't seen it serve too much justice yet. A lot of the posts are crap (IMHO). I think a grow log should be complete, well expressed and should defently include clear pictures of the progressive / results. Then again....this would just cut down on 90% of the threads that have been posted there!

I'm gonna go mark my thread in there as *completed* Perhaps others will pick up, and the mods will pick up the slack when people dont.
About the suggestion form, you mean me? I think a good way to go about it would be to have a completely different format for posting as an option. A database form (excel or something) which people could take their notes on as they grow, then upload to the shroomery. Pictures and text descriptions could then be added. A good basis of this would be the forms in TMC. Or is that not what you're talking about at all. Do you just mean a kinda FAQ, how to post in this forum?

Yes.

I was talking about this.
I think bringing too much form into it won?t work, since not everyone is good with excell or HTML.
But providing some general guidelines in text format, point to point would be good.
Perhaps you want to make something like this.
Or come up with aditional suggestions or other ideas.
