if you post this in the grow log as a suggestion for the potential grow log posters, then they will see it there. Then they might register a puppet name and post under that fake name.
Do you understand my reasoning?

The thread belongs here, it needs to be addressed by somebody who can make anonymous posting allowed in the grow log forum. Why don't you try it out? See if it works. The reason it belongs here is it is not a suggestion to grow log posters to post anonymously, it is a suggestion to the shroomery administration to make anonymous posting in the grow log forum possible.

It is already allowed by the very nature of those forums....

Annonymous posting is only possible if you register another username and post under this new username......

Anno, can anything be done to protect this user?
I think limiting its posting rights to the growlog forum is important. Also can multiple people be logged in at the same time. I reckon I should turn off PMs but then again any user can change it back. Also, I would need adminstrator help in case of takeovers. *sigh* I guess there is a lot of problems with public accounts

What i had in mind was, that if someone feels the need to post a log under a fake name, register this name and use it to post a log. 1 user per fake name....

I think its a good idea.
I have seen a few users have gotten admin to delete all of their posts. A few growlogs have been deleted too.
The post above yours justs proves the anonymity of the user using 'growlog' to post  . Moderators can deal with any misuse of this account.
Whichever way it is done, making another username or posting with user 'growlog', if it gives peace of mind to the cultivator, good.
