How to tell what threads I've posted in.

Is there a way to tell what threads I've previously responded to, other forums I've been on would have an arrow or icon of some sort over on top of the file-folder icon, to the left of the thread title.

Sorry, wasn't sure how to use the search feature for this question, if it's been covered.

I know about that, and apparently what I was asking was totally misunderstood.

I mean like how the file folder changes to a lock when a thread is locked.

Have it change to be a file folder with an arrow over it or a shroom over it, as a reminder that you have posted in that thread, without having to go into home/my posts.

I have seen several v-bulletin boards like that, but I realize this isn't v-bulletin.

Here is an example of what I'm meaning, and I tried to edit out anything identifying this forum, as I'm in no way shape or form advertising it, I no longer post there for reasons I have no intent on getting into.

the box with an X is a closed thread, the boxes with a check mark are threads I have posted in, the normal boxes are threads I haven't posted in.


IMHO it makes it really easy to keep track of weather you posted in a thread, and want to recheck the new posts, or if you didn't see anything worthwhile to respond to in that thread, and you already know to skip over it.

Umm.. I seem to have lost that years ago, but thanks :smile:

and I'm sure you already know a short term memory is only good for 10-20 minutes, after that, it's all long term.

I seem to lose things in the transition from short to long term :frown:

I guess you haven't been around too long, but the "Threads I have posted in" icon () is a relatively new feature.
