shiitake air exchange

I know that shiitake's need heaps of air exchange (3-4 times/hour) and i was just wondering if it would work cutting a few holes in the lid of my terrerium?

holes alone won't provide nearly enough air exchange, i have been wondering as well how to adress this issue. i think a small air pump would work.
if you where going to put ventilation holes in your fruiting chamber i think you might wan't to put them near the bottom for CO2 release (not so easy if you're using a glass terarium)
from what i've heard i think the best method overall would be grow them outdoors if your climate can accomadate, that's what i think i'll do.

Take at look at this post of mine.....it uses an aquarium air pump into an airstone in water and h2o2....adds air and RH.
