So I have this friend who's coming across the country to visit for a week. I told him he could stay at my house. The last 2 weeks we have been planning this tripping party we're going to throw since my parents are in the bahamas. (I'm a colledge student living at home) It's supposed to be a small little get together type thing. My house is very well suited for tripping, and it was only close friends that were invited. about 15 poeple or so.

I call him today to tell him to come around 9, and everyone is dropping their shit at 9:30, and bring booze! Ive got friends comming from a colledge an hour away bringing gel tabs. goes "oh man, im really trying to swing by there later, but i dont know if I'l make it, man" and goes on to explain what his plans are. Basicly he's going to a party some junior/senior highschool sluts are throwing. So im easy going and I figure I'l adjust. I ask him if we can meet them (he's witht he other people who were going to come) and just move the party there. and he goes "i dunno man, it might throw off the cock to pussey ratio"

im pissed. i donnt know if i should be. i did quite a bit to get the house trip-ready. The turntables were set up in the kitchen room with a view, the guitars/amps were going on the porch so we could all jam outside. lots of cool LEDs and such, visuals ect. And now i have people comming over tonight, to hang out all of us as a group again that might be dissapointed, since this party was supposed to be a welcome back thing.

Well on the bright side were gonna be overstocked on assorted chemicles, and plenty of pinapples/mangos/orange to make laced juices. but its gonna be lacking.

What a bitch. I dont think im going to let him stay here for the week, he can help himself to a hotel or some highschool sluts basement.

Your friend did let you down. But if he is single, you have to realize how important getting a piece is to the single man. I remember being single. And any opportunity for pussy was a chance worth taking. Mind you I wouldn't always ditch my friends for pussy. But I have a friend that did, and would, have every chance he had. I understand though. your "friend" is a douche - and you should not answer the door/phone when he finally can find time for you. After a few days you should purposley run into him and be like "DUDE! You missed a fucking awesome party" and then take off - Dont explain why or let him stay with you. that kind of person needs a dick slapped in his face. You went out of your way to make your place into a happin' pad and he dissed you for some "possible" pussy. No way sir, in my book, hes done. Im a chick, and when I went out, I had friends who would ditch me for a guy - that was the last time I hung out with them. You just dont do that. Especially if there was that much planning put into it.

Look this is complex, is this guy his best friend? Cause if he was a good friend of mine I would try and make it so at least he could come to the other party(full of girls) , and then maybe later we would head back to the other place.

We don't know this. And you know what, when you are single and lonely, going to a party is also a chance to meet someone, maybe even someone very special.

So there is a deeper aspect to the whole thing. I'm deeper then just sex, and I'm willing to bet 75% of the population is too...
I'm just playing devil's advocate. How do we know how this guy is feeling?

You're assuming your other friends will be disappointed.  Call em early and see if they have others they'd want to bring.  Figure out how to make it a good party without and have a good time.

Even good friends can make mistakes, but definately consider this persons reliability in the future.  I would however keep my word if I offered him a place to stay, so long as it doesn't mess up the dick/pussy ratio :wink:
