 Stupid question about jars.

Where can i get those jars that don't go inwards at the tops so that i can grow. I know that prolly the stupidest question u guys have ever heard but up till now i've been using drinking glasses and i need those for..well.. drinking.
So can someone tell me where to get those jars, canning jars i believe they are called.

Mystically, when I was buying most of my supplies at the walmart near where I lived, I came down to the jars on my list and they were right next to me, lucky me. (The girl at the checkout lane gave me a really weird look when she saw all the weird stuff I was buying). They were one pint, and I had no clue where to find where else in the massiviness of walmart the rest of them would be, but I think they would have them.
I have also seen them in Albertsons Grocery store on the top shelf above the flour.
Dont know if you have either of those in your area, but they are pretty big stores that as far as I know, carry them.

Yeah Walmart has them in all sizes, Albertsons has them but not 1/2 pint wide mouth which are the ones i mostly like to use. Also some other supermarkets have them. It can be a pain in the ass to find them sometimes but one of your supermarkets will have them you could also check your local drug stores and hardware stores.

I found mine where i got my cheap ass pressure cooker, at Bennys. Depending on where you live you may not have one of those. I believe Bennys may be a New England thing. But yeah, almost anyplace will carry 1/2 pint and other sized tappered canning jars. If you havnt found any, it means you havnt been looking hard enough. Walmart and all those other mart like stores, such as Target and Kmart, are a good start, yes, but even Sears will probably carry them in their kitchen/cooking section of the store. And at that, most kitchen supply stores should have them, if they dont, throw a brick through their window, they deserve it for not carrying such an item and calling themselves a kitchen supply store.

I had the same problem I ordered them from a local hardware store. I'm drinking from paper cups.

You can use disposable Ziplock 1/2 pint containers about 5 times before the lid gets deformed..but otherwise they hold up to PCing just fine.
That icon looks like someone scratching their balls...strange!

when I went to walmart they were sold out so i went to safeway found them there. who would of thought safeway carried them =P  =P

They have them at Super Valu too. Prolly IGA and all the rest as well.
But I also find lots at yards sales. Picked up 4 dozen this week for $2.50 a duz. Also, a big hepa filter for $12!
