You will risk the contam if you open the jars...

This one i woudl leave to the pros....

Just wait, someone will come up with something, u can mayeb try to transfer the spores from your syringe to a new longer syringe in a sterile environemnt.....
Or just order some spores froma good dealer and your guranteed to get long enough needles...

If you really clean your inoculation room good.
and have no draft at all.....and spray the air with Lysol.
you might get away with inoculating with the lid off.

no promises though.

As an experiment I have just done a batch of 6 jars

1 plain brown rice
3 verm and plain brown rice
1 honey
1 brf and verm

All sterilised with lids rubber down, they all sealed to vacuum status.
and all innoculated by breaking the seal and lifting the lid a crack.
It`s been 1 week and no contamination what so ever.
Everything growing perfectly.

I left all jars for 4 days to check for contamination and nothing, now innoculated 7 days later and still no contam.

So like roadkill says, keep things clean and sterile and you`ll have no probs.
4 of the jarshad ramsy seals as well.
