Thanks to the folks at Mycotopia the details are all written up and ready for download here:
http://www.mycotopia.net/discus/messages/5/ot_straw_tek_1.doc
http://www.mycotopia.net/discus/messages/5/ot_straw_tek_2.doc
http://www.mycotopia.net/discus/messages/5/ot_straw_tek_3.doc
The process is simple... you pastuerize straw and inoculate using powdered PF cakes as spawn. The cake powder is mixed with the straw providing zillions of growth points for the mycellium allowing the straw to become completely colonized very rapidly. Details regarding proper cake grinding techniques as well as straw prep are included in the above listed documents....
Good luck to you....

hi...Oldtimer
Pavlov's Dog told me about you. we have been using a horse poo tek. some of your ideas went into this I believe.
basically we take a BRF cake that has been ground up in a food processor and spawn it into pasturized horse poo.
I just use this horse poo tek alot. Very reliable.
From what I understand you came up with the idea of grinding up BRF cakes in a food processor.....if this is true.....I thank you !
