Traditionally to become a sushi master you study for like ten years. You spend 2-3 years just learning how to wash and prepare the rice before they even let you near the fish. But not everyone wants to spend 10 years learning how to make perfect sushi. So just get a sushi master to make some for you. But to become a sushi master you have to apprentice under one for a long time.

Sushi is pretty hard to make, but if you go to a nice grocery store or specialty store(ASIAN) you may find a sushi kit to make it a whole lot easier.

It is fun to make and the reward is even better!

Sushi is easy. My sushi might not be the best but it OK and my wife says so (she is half Japanese) there is lots of good book on it. Just get a good mat to roll on and look at the link below put in sushi there should be some videos.

Here's a couple tips .

Wrap your bamboo sushi roller in saran wrap before using it .

Cut your fish, and rolls , with a very sharp , thin knife . Dip the tip in water and let it run down the blade between cuts . Keeps the rice from sticking to the blade . :thumbup:

The hardest thing about making sushi is the rice . After all , that's what sushi is , vinegared rice
