my wife cought the bug //sweet
    #6319058 -

well after my wife watching me with my Hobie for a very long time now i gave her the book myc running after i got done reading it and asker her if she wanted to read it.

she said that she might.

so i came home from work the other day  and she said that she wanted her own space in the Martha.  i was like what do you mean??
she said that she had learned alot from helping me and watching me and after she read the book she really wants to give it a try.

sweet!!!!!

so we made up some popcorn jars which are pcing right now and 3 days ago she made her  first batch of pf cakes. which i keep seeing her looking in the incubator to see if they are growing yet.

i think she caught the bug

pretty soon you will see pics of her monster shrooms towering over mine lol
and we will be fighting to use the lab top  to go on the shroomery  lol

Sweet! Easy on the pics of your wife's grow though. She might start putting your shit to shame.

My wife enjoys some of the aspects of cultivating as well, but she usually sticks to harvesting. I love having the help.

It wasn't long ago that my fiancee used to say "I hate all that science stuff, its so boring"...Now she too has caught the bug and wants me to help her get a grow going on her own,Till she is back from school she doesn't have a safe spot so its going to have to wait for now but I sure do fancy the idea of his and hers greenhouses :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:  :dancingshroom:

My girlfriend likes that part too. I let her. I figure it's the least I could do after forcing her to listen to my ramblings on the benefits of strain isolation compared to a multispore inoculation.

Thank you,I feel lucky as well. But just a word of advice,if she isn't interested don't try and teach her stuff or she will be like mine used to be and say it was boring,Just have her around while your doing stuff and she will come around and get interested, always let her pick and eat them with you and that sparks the interest level way up,next think you know she will be asking to borrow a baby bottle full of LC :hehehe:

That's funny. And cool.

Plus, Hippie Chick made me laugh!

Vanessa and I were going to work on a pharm together one day but fate kept us apart in love. If you have a companion who shares your plane so well, that is a wonderful thing.

Haha.  My girlfriend helps me all the time.  She would definitely cultivate if she didn't have that college thing going on.

She gives me good ideas on occasion too!

i just recently kicked my GF out of my greenhouse.

Actually, I bought her one for x-mas last year, and took it back recently. I htought it was going to be a good idea for my significant other to help me in my hobby.

Boy was I wrong!
my Gf is Very smart. Book smart, not creative smart.

I like to sit down with my hobby and think of new idea's, as well as take my time into making sure everything is just right. When she is around, i don't get to do these things...

Due to the fact that i am not thinking of her, or making kissie face. Stupid shit like that. Everything with her has to be done quick and efficient. Then it becomes a CHORE  :mad2:

So I took her key away... "Don't let em push you around"

Well, I'm probably the only one holding my GF from getting involved, but I'm the one who did all the reading and testing for a while now, and I still have a far from foolproof technique. But I guess with my newly purchased big ass presto and glovebox, I'll be able to get a reliable tek and I will sure tech her everything I can, for I'm sure she be the Shroom Pal I've been needing forever....
