mushrooms: its a lot easier to achieve the level trip you want because the doses are easier to determine. in my experience with acid, i was usually doing a different type every time and had no idea what to expect.

i also like the trip of mushrooms a lot better. it could be all in my head but the effects of the shroom are much more pleasurable. acid hits me all at once usually- and it freaks me out.

plus you can grow your own shrooms, its fun and it makes tripping so much better when it is from something you put so much effort into.

I would definitely say the shroomies. I guess just cause the fact they are natural, and although I havnt done much research on it, I am guessing it is a little easier on the brain. Also I like the trip of shrooms ALOT better!

it really just depends... i've been dosing mushrooms alot recently and am really wanting some acid now

last year it was just the opposite

i guess i prefer the general trip of mushrooms, but every once in a while, a good lsd mindfuck freakout is alot of fun too

I'd say shrooms.
I cant get over that acid stays with you forever. At least with shrooms, your body has a way of metabolizing and excreting the psilocybes

I was told (which means it could easily be a myth) that the reason ppl have flashbacks from lsd is because your body cannot breakdown the lsd. the liver or kidneys cant metabolize it, so it gets stored in your fat cells. Thats why when ppl work out, or get stressed, they have flashbacks. and thats why they dont let ppl fly planes who have taken lsd.

although, after reading http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_myth1.shtml it has become clear that i was lied to.
Good ol' erowid. always there to prove me wrong.

It's wierd how they differ, I find shrooms more natural. It's like mushrooms make me wanna go into a lord of the rings type theme and acid makes me wanna go into a spaceship. What the fuck am I saying? My acid trips were more mild but the visuals are in your face and shrooms kinda creep in, I really need more acid experience.

Acid by far! The vibe is always more itnteresting, visuals are guaranteed with cid, great energy, easy on the body, far more spiritual.
Ive had some of the most incredible experiences on acid. Ive watched silver objects dance around in the first rays of dawn that peak through the wispy clouds. Ive chased a blue fire while walking through a forest that seems to dissappear when you get close and reappear further away. Ive seen the wind change in the air on a fresh morning where the colours of everything were so enhanced and bright that they appeared to be 'high res'.
Ive also had incredible experiences on shrooms - shrooms can be great but high doses tend to be hard on the body, and the experiences seem sometimes a bit 'fabricated' like there is something profound there but not quite - SOMETIMES the experiences seem a bit fake. Something one could never say about acid or Salvia. just my opinion though and i still luv shroomies!!!

Shrooms - i love them for the profound thinking and the amazing body sensations, but i hate them for the hell they put my stomach threw.

Acid - amazing visuals but usally i end up freaking out a little bit

i guess if i had to pick one it would be shrooms

interesting opinion. but could you explain what you mean by fake? i've tried shrooms and salvia, and the two experiences don't really compare for me. to me it seems that anyone could consider acid experiences fake as well since it's just the effect of the drug that is producing hallucinations

i've never ever had any problems getting sick or feeling nautious(sp?) from shrooms. i find the exact opposite of what bluemeanie said to be true. acid is very hard on my body(i feel like complete shit the next day usually) and with shrooms i feel fine if not wonderful.

LSD is almost completely metabolized and broken down within hours. The little that is left is metabolized in the next day or so. Acid flashbacks (just like any type of flashback) are triggered when someone sees/hears/experiences something that reminds them of a trip, generally a strong one. And they usually aren't that bad, a lot of people like em. ;p (free momentary tripping..!)

both are a totaly different animal imo...
The last time i was doing acid was in the 70s...

If things haven't changed, I'll go for the acid...more intense, deeper,
great visuals....
but let me say again two different paths...I love mushrooms
