WoW!
Perhaps you could describe what that filtering device in the back is? Part of your terrarium?

I do not see you obligated to tell us your growing secrets, but damn!, those are fatty fruits and I would like to know how to replicate such results.

what beautiful pinsets though!

Holy shit man.

Let me get this straight. THis is a multispore innoculation, on just cased birdseed, without compost or dung? How the hell did you get those size of fruits. They look like allt he same size as well.

Thats amazing man, I dont understnad how you got a dense of a flush like that from just casing birdseed.

Whats the specs on the casing with the huge caps?

PR?s are known for massive overlay esp on coir
just recently i did my first PR casing ever with about 70/30 coir/verm and got no overlay; only a few aggresive patches.
if i can get pics of it i will post them up
it took over 2 weeks after shocking to pin and still no overlay.
cubies just LOVE coir because of its density; structure moreso i think than its water retention properties; unlive verm which i believe is just the best at supplying moisture.
i believe it is so suitable that you need to make the environment slightly less favorable. growing in the wild they will never get 95% humidity 24/7 agreed?
i kept my temps after shocking between 69 and 75 and with no humidity gauge; but no condensation on the walls at all;they got perlite humidification in the terrarium and 2 holes on either end of the rubbermaid container (at bottom close to perlite) about 3x3 inches covered with MM filter disks. fan 1-2x a day. i would guess rh stayed between 70 and 85; but never any condensation. the misting to keep it from drying out was ended after 1 week and allowed the to layer to evaporate. the top layer would dry slightly and even the mycellium growth a bit; and pins formed appx 6-7 days after i stopped misting.
coir is just TOO suitable IMHO and if youre not careful; overlay will come.
only my personal experience tho.
i gotta get me some gt?s; i want something that grows fast and still potent enough to hang with the big boy cubes (KS were pathetic potency IMHO)

2nd flush on birdseed coir, after a 2 week cold shock (she went away).

Fruits fell over after a near drop!

Good luck

you used 1 pint for the casings right? what size is the container you put them in and where did you find it? when you dropped the rh to 85-90, how did you maintain that rh? are you using perlite?

Yes, 2 x 1/2 pint cakes or 2 x 1/2 pint jars of b/seed.
Containers are 190mm x 240mm x 80mm ....or..... 7.5" x 9.5" x 3".
My friend got them from her local garden center, holes in the bottom taped up, she has some without holes, but these are more expensive.
Rh was maintained in the fruiting chamber by using a ultrasonic humidifier on a timer, pre-pinning was done in a large fish tank filled w/ perlite (99rh).

Hope this helps!

Good luck.

Pifco. Its difficult to find an u.s.h. here, the one I found I payed ?4 for on ebay , thats about $6, and retails at ?90 ($135).

>and what is the timing sequence on it? how long on, how long off....

A segment timer was used, the type where you push down the segment giving a 15 minute on period. This has to be experimented with and will probably take a few days to get right. Depending on the size of fruiting chamber etc. The on/off times used were 15 minutes/1.5 hours, as I said experiment because the humidity also fluctuates with the temperature.

Good luck
