more stinky cakes

ok, so i have made another attempt at cakes, it has only been 3 days and there is no sign of growth, which doesnt concern me. but they smell kinda funky, i think its just the smell of the damp rice flour. sound right? or do i have bad rice?

damp BRF and verm does smell a little stinky, but shouldn't smell any different then when you were mixing it up in the bowl.

if it does, something may be wrong

Check your sterilization procedures if the smell worsen's it's a bacteria contam but normally it takes more then three days for it to really smell...

Shit man, that's really too bad. I agree with the comments Re: sterilization process? or substrate preparation process? I might also be just as concerned with how you are smelling them to determine that? Just through the air exchange holes? If you happen to be opening the lids, I don't think that's a very good idea? But I really don't know that for sure
