First Grow Attempt

This is my first attempt at growing mushrooms. I used PF Tek and then fruited directly off the cakes using the "poor-man's terrarium" (2 liter plastic bottle cut in half) . I wasn't expecting much but i noticed pinning and a few days later mushrooms with noticable caps. I'm concerned though because in all the photos I've seen of fruiting the mushrooms were growing off the sides and mine are all growing directly on top. I was wondering if this was normal or if anyone else had seen this. I've included a photo and hope to get a response. Thank you.

Hell yeah! Nice and healthy looking. You say that's your first shot at it? Those are beautiful looking compared to a lot of people's first tries. Keep up the good work and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
