 New to shrooms, anyone identify these ones I got?

I just split an eigth of shrooms with my bro $40 an eigth. The caps are dime sized-penny sized with a light copper brown color. They are shaped like those caps on acorns. They have brown gills with a white (and gray on some) skin type material covering the gill partly. Its dry and crunchy like leaves though I just call it a skin like covering . Stems are mostly 1 3/4 inch long with a copper colored tint mixed with white and some gray tint on them. The stems are hard.
What is the best way to take these without ruining potency? What food/drink goes best with them, and wont make you feel sick after eating? Tea, sandwhich, juice, what?
PS
I have never eaten shrooms before.

Well first off, just eat them! Don't bother mixing it up for your first time. Everyone should taste shrooms at least once, I think. Some people even like the taste, others don't find anything wrong with it (like me).
Not sure of the exact species. Maybe a B+ strain of p. cubensis? Someone else will have to verify that.

How thick are the stems, how many and how many caps in the 1/8?

Psilocybe Cubensis. could be any variety. chew 'em up real good and do not eat at least 4-6 hours before you dose.

yeah prolly cubies. The easiest method i think to consume dried mushrooms is to break em all up and make a nice pile. Then just put some in yer mouth and wash em down with water, koolaid or yer beverage of choice.

That's fucked up seeing how much shrooms are in other places. $40 and eighth is $320/oz and that's probably US dollars, right? Shrooms here go for about $100/oz and that's Canadian which is about $65 US.
And like the other guys said, no special preperations needed, split the bag into two and eat em. Be safe and have fun.

$80 for an ounce here.. (Alberta), I can get em' REAL cheap down in BC.

some where in Southern U.S. around my area mushies are free at the right season for me at least cuz I know where to go. if not people charge 20 bucks for an oz. an they are strong. peace
