Bad shrooms?

I was in calgary, alberta in september, and i did shrooms with some friends. This time was much different than the last time i did them. I had the usual case of the giggles, and slight tracers, but i didnt feel like i was tripping. And at one point for a while I felt as if my throat was closing up kinda and i felt like i was gonna puke. Then my left arm felt really numb and remember thinking my arm was dead. Were these jsut shitty shrooms? they were mostly stems and from what i could tell they were cubes, but they could have been another kind.

I don't know whether a shroom can cause those type of specific effects. Atleast half of what you say is due to you tripping though and lots of things can affect the 'tilt' (good/bad), set and setting certainly can make the difference.

well, i was a bit paranoid all night, cuz we were with this guy who snuck out after his curfew(which was given to him by the court cuz he slashed a guy) so i was kinda worried that the cops would be looking for him. could that be why?

If he's capable of stabbing someone whithout being on drugs, then immagine what he could do while on drugs. i wouldnt shroom with him personally.
