Re: Salvia VS internal dialog [Re: Icelander]

She can change a man's mood in only a few minutes, and change their life in as little time. Some silly people in Delaware assert she can cause depression, as well, but I do not believe that is so. Not unless she has been truly offended by someone. Many people may be depressed briefly after taking her if she shows them the horrible things about themselves. I was, until the next time I visited her, where she then helped me fix those things. I hope as I share her with some others around me (the ones she tells me I may - I always visit her to ask permission, I find this very important) I will be able to learn more about what she can do to help people.

I have had many interesting....I mean intensely interesting...things like spiritual attack and entity contact occur while using salvia. I am really stumped as to how to take these experiences, but salvia is over so quick that I have never been favored with a long term effect on my personality as I have with shrooms, acid, aya, or san pedro. This substance seems to favor the spirit world side of the shaman's realm...or what Castaneda would call "the second attention". Traditional psychedelics seem to lend themselves to the introspection of personality much better...or at least that is my experience. If you want to dive right in to the second attention, though, salvia is king. If you want to be tested in the fire as to your relationship to reality salvia is right on the mark.

Absolutely Salvia is favoring the "second attention" as Castaneda would term it. I have not gotten so far into his books to be able to use such terminology, I refer to that as "across the axis mundi" or simply "in the spirit world," which is where I do most of my work. And as such, I find myself having Salvia as a teacher to be very useful.

Later I will send you some PMs to discuss your studies with salvia if you are not averse.

I would appreciate that, Huehuecoyotl. I am not adverse, I am very interested.

That is fair. I am on the East Coast, though, so I may go to bed before I get them. If that is the case, well, they are private messages. They wait.

Actually, I was referring to the illusion that our internal experience is hidden from others.  We may imagine that our internal monologue only plagues us, that no one else is affected, while we constantly emanate the qualities of that inner experience.

The opposite is also true, we believe that our inner experience is somehow separate from and unaffected by our external reality, though we constantly internalize the conditions of our circumstances.

I was also referring to the universality of these beliefs & behaviors, and to the fact that we are not alone in any of it.  We imagine ourselves encased in and hidden by our facades, when we are constantly revealed and intermingling with the experience of others.

My avatar IS the sexiest, though.

What, it's legal. I might as well worry about admitting I'm going to drink some Zinfandel tonight.

Don't let someone trick you into paranoia...salvia is legal. Besides, who is to say that the encryption here at the shroomery is legit? It could be a government sting operation gathering intelligence for busts as far as we know. Never trust encryption that YOU did NOT install and setup. There are no guarantees it is good. You will find salvia fascinating. I am interested to hear what you think about it.

I'm not prone to paranoia, and it is always self-induced during the rare times I experience it.

If I choose to discuss anything over the internet, encrypted or not, I do so with the idea that anyone could be listening/reading.
