Intentional Freak Communities

From James Kent's Psychedelic Information Theory: http://tripzine.com/listing.php?id=pit26
The point I am trying to make here is that people who use and/or study psychedelics for any length of time tend to become a bit eccentric, or what most people might call weird...
This tendency towards eccentricity led the ‘60s psychedelic subculture to embrace the term “freak” used to describe underground drug users...
This dichotomy between freak liberation and freak oppression can lead a lost freak to spontaneously join a new community of supportive freaks without ever looking back...
These communities happened because the freaks needed a place to fight the alienation they felt in normal society, a place where they could let their freak flag fly without being mocked or judged by people who didn’t understand them...
And while jumping into a freak community is certainly not the only answer to psychedelic alienation, it does seem better than becoming excessively withdrawn and trapped into your own internal melodramas, as enticing as that sounds...
I want to join an Intentional Freak Community too.

ARE WE CONTROLLED BY SECRET FORCES? Do you ever get the feeling that "free will" is a joke?
DO PEOPLE THINK YOU'RE STRANGE?
DO YOU??
Then you may be on the right track!
ARE YOU ABNORMAL?
Then you are probably on the right track!
ARE ALIEN SPACE MONSTERS BRINGING A STARTLING NEW WORLD?
IF you suspect that things are much worse than you ever suspected--
IF the only thing you've been able to laugh at for the last 5 years is the fact that NOTHING is funny anymore--
IF you sometimes want to collar people on the street and scream that you're more "different" than they could possibly imagine --
IF you can help us with a donation --
IF you see the whole universe as one vast morbid sense of sick humor --
IF the current 'Age of Progress' seems more like the Dark Ages to you --
IF you are looking for an inherently contradictory religion that will condone megadegeneracy and yet tell you that you are "above" everyone else --
