NO. It does not.

But, if you want OVERKILL, simply cut the needle end of a luer lock syringe off, screw it on the syringe filter, and stuff it with polyfil.

Which creates one hell of a PRE-FILTER over the syringe filter.

We might even add a pre-filter, to fit over the syringe filter.

This was one of the proto-type lids, with a Kerr/Ball cap.

Notice, no fluid is dripping from the Whatman Filter.
