can't screw lid over filter disc

i picked up some filter discs from myco supply, and went to use them.
they were the right size for the jars, but i couldn't screw the lids over them.
it seems that the thickness of the discs won't allow the lids to catch the threads on the jars.
anyone else have this problem?

yeah i just go crazy on it and it closes... But then is sucks to take the lid off.

if you buy the bigger dics (60mm??) you can cut them into thrids. after this you can simple drill a 1" hole into a plastic lid and glue the filter on top with some blue silicon from your local hardware store.

just use tyvek. after innoculation twist the ring off, and move the lid so there arent any holes. thats wat i do.
