I'm not sure how I found this site but i know through assorted forums. Anyways... I'm pretty sure he's not growing the psychadelic form of mushroom.. more like a oyster shroom. But i'm sure this can be adapted for P.Cubs. My question is do you think the posibility for contaminates is like when using the spawn and mixing with the hay and if these "logs" are a good idea. Is it just me or did that all happen EXTREMELY fast. Thats what really got me interested. The best bulk production i've seen. Maybe cuz it's got pictures :tongue:

If one was to perpetuate such a project any of our advanced mycologists have any tips on safe-guarding and insuring the most likely-hood of sucess. How about those t shaped holes? Is that an efficent "birthing" method i guess i would say? And anyone know where he got those plastic tubes? Sorry for the ignorance, just a beginer starting on the long road of becoming a mycologist. Peace to all.

This process that you looked at is for growing oyster mushrooms and other edibles.

You couldn't use this type of method for cubes.
You could use straw and grain.....but in a flat container like a rubbermaid.
You can even use straw and grain outdoors.....if you have the right conditions.
